Pinning your From and In
Updated 13 October 2026
Your From and In are the heart of sindhi.me. They are what let other Sindhis find you, and what let you find them.
From — where your family is from
This is the village, town, or area your family comes from. You can search for it by name. If you can’t find an exact match, pick the nearest town or area — you can refine it later.
Not sure of the exact village? That's fine. Choose the closest place you know. Many families share a broader home area even when the precise village differs.
In — where you live now
This is the city where you currently live. When you move, update your In and sindhi.me will quietly re-connect you with Sindhis in your new city.
Why two anchors?
- In helps you meet Sindhis nearby, today.
- From helps you find people who share your roots, wherever they live now.
Together they answer the two questions that matter most: who’s around me? and who’s from home?
Changing them later
You can update both any time from your profile. See Edit your profile.
