Community hosts

Updated 13 October 2026

Community hosts are volunteers who help a city or village community feel welcoming. Think of them as the friendly face who makes sure newcomers aren’t left standing alone.

What hosts do

  • Welcome people who are new to a city.
  • Answer practical questions about the local Sindhi community.
  • Help keep the tone warm and respectful.

Hosts are community members, not staff. They don’t have special access to your private information.

A host can't see your messages or private details. Their role is to welcome and guide, nothing more.

Becoming a host

Interested in hosting your city or village? We’d love to hear from you — reach out through Contact and tell us where you’d like to help.

Reporting a concern

If a host — or anyone — behaves in a way that doesn’t fit our community guidelines, please report it. Hosts are held to the same standards as everyone else.
