Blocking and reporting

If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block or report them in a couple of taps. We take reports seriously.

Blocking someone

  1. Open their profile or your conversation with them.
  2. Tap the ⋯ menu.
  3. Choose Block.

Once blocked, that person can no longer see you, send you a Salaam, or message you. They are not told that you blocked them. You can unblock later from Settings.

Reporting a profile or message

  1. Open the profile or message.
  2. Tap the ⋯ menu and choose Report.
  3. Pick a reason and add any detail that helps.
Blocking and reporting are separate. You can do both — blocking protects you right away, reporting helps us act on the account.

What happens after a report

  • Our moderators review every report.
  • Depending on what we find, we may warn, limit, or remove the account.
  • Serious safety concerns are prioritised.
